Pad & Outside training?
I have been training ours to go on the pad since September, but they shred the paper ones. So I'm going to order some cloth rewashable ones. They also are not totally pad trained, they are pretty much 100% in the xpen, but much less so outside of it. I also started teaching them to go out side as well, since thats what we'd like them to do when we are home. Will leaving them in an x-pen with a cloth pad during the working day negate any advances we make when we are home nights and weekends with going outside? Or will I have to crate them and come home and let them out every work day? I can come home 95% of the time, but on days I can't for some reason or another, I will have to x-pen them and I don't know if that will effect their outside training. |
