![]() Madden is about 8 months and he's 3lbs. He won't jump up onto the couch or onto the bed even with a bunch of pillows to help him reach. The other two yorkies jump up on the couch, bed, pretty much everywhere and Madden just sits there or puts his paws up on the couch (he wants to be picked up). I don't know if he's scared/timid or if there could be something wrong with his legs. Anybody else have this problem? ![]()

![]() Hi and welcome. I have two Yorkie girls and the older one never jumped on or off of the sofa. Come to find out she had two bad knees. Some however are just not sure of themselves. It will happen as long as no help is give. ![]()

![]() mine picks and chooses when to jump up, sometimes she does it no problem first try, other's she doesnt try at all just paws at the edge of the bed (of course at 2 AM lol) and others she'll jump forty times to make it and will back away and not let me grab her if i try to help her, guess sometimes she's very determined and others she's VERY lazy. I've been told though that yorkies are known for having really bad knees and they shouldnt be allowed to jump very much at all, but it's really hard to stop her

![]() I put pet steps beside my bed so Venus could get on and off easily. I made mine, but there are lots of places you can purchase them from that are reasonable. I think www.harrietcarter.com may still carry them. I know also, I've seen then advertised in one of the local pharmacies, for under 20 bucks too. Pet supply places, are the highest priced.

| ![]() I think if you put a tasty snack on each step, she'll get in in no time ![]()
