It might kind of sound funny... when you're not the one to deal with it. Pepper recently started squatting so low when he does his business, he almost sits in his poop. It started to happen recently, and he ends up having butt baths a few times a week. His hair IS trimmed short, I don't want to end up having to shave his entire butt completely, but what to do??

Just make sure that he doesn't have any joint problem etc, I hope that is not the case

I agree that maybe some pain is causing him to not put so much effort in to holding himself up. How old is he? Maybe some asprin temperarily & a vet visit to have him checked over.
