| Does she circle before she poops? My dogs do that so when I was training Hallie to use the pad I was able to tell when she has to go and would put her on the pad and stand there until she went, then throw a celebration and give her a treat!!! I would also leave some there for a small time too so she could see that it was ok! Sometimes she would get mad at me for watching but she picked it up! Good Luck to you, she will get it soon! |

| Starsky does the opposite. He will Poop on the pad but not pee. ARGH! He is doing great going outside. I think the pads, just aren't going to be the thing to do.

| I agree with you on that one. Maggie is doing great outdoor for her bathroom habits. You can even ask her if she needs to go p-pee. She will beat you to the door. The problem we have is that Maggie will not cry in her crate to be let outside. She will actually pee on her blankie and lay back down on it. Now that's gross. So we started leaving the crate door open and put down a tinkle pad. Sometimes she hits it, and sometimes she misses. When she misses, the tee tee smears out on the floor and she has been skiing in it. Tinkle pads ought to be made out of foam rubber (like a sponge). Anybody out there that can steer this retired granny in the right direction, holler. They say that Yorkies are great for retired, elderly and handicapp. Well, I'm the first two. After playing with her on the floor, I'm quickly becoming the third catagory too. |
