| ![]() First of all, this is really long, and I am sorry for that!! I need suggestions and tips from everyone!! I am having a problem. We decided to dog sit for my cousin for two weeks. So we have her two dogs that we are watching for her, one is a female shih tzu and the other is a neutered male terrier mix. Now the terrier mix gets along great with all the other dogs and does not hump anyone or anything. I caught him lifting his leg once in the house and I told him no and he has not done it since, so no problems with him, he even gets along great with the little ones. ![]() The shih tzu is a different story. She keeps humping all my dogs, she does this non stop. ![]() The shih tzu is about 20 pounds, so when you have a 20 pound dog trying to get on a 5 pound dog, someone can get hurt. And my mom's border collie who is 60 pounds does not like that the shih tzu is trying to hump her. After all, the border collie is the biggest, and strongest and naturally the dominant leader of all the dogs here. We were really close to have a huge fight today from the two. Oh and when she is doing the humping thing, she won't stop, you have to pry her off of the dogs, she has a really tight grip. Trixie is absolutely scared to death of her, as Trixie is very submissive and easy to dominate, so Trixie will hide and won't come out because she is terried of the shih tzu humping her. She tried to do it to Scampers, but luckily I got to her before she did. One more thing, at the shih tzu's home, she is allowed to hump anyone, the owners never correct her and she is allowed to do it all she wants. ![]() This is becoming a huge problem and worry. Is there anything I can do, other than crating the shih tzu?? ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Thanks guys for your advice and support. Right now she is depressed and lays in her crate all day, we keep the door open but for the most part she will stay in there. Hopefully she will come around some time this week. She has learned that humping the others is a no no and we highly disapprove. So she is learning, but I still catch her doing it a few times. ![]() ![]()
