| Yorkie Won't Stop Barking in Car! Hi! My yorkie will bark bloody murder at me when I leave him in my car and will continue until I come back. It has gotten so embarrassing (and stressful!) that I now have to put him in his crate when I take him out. Is this the only solution? I feel really bad because my other dog has good car manners and gets full, free access when she's in the car. I've had him since he was a baby (he's 1.5 y.o.) and thought I did a pretty good job socializing him. Other than this, he is a loyal and loving companion to me and my other dog. Any suggestions? THANKS! |

| It sounds to me like being in the car without you is stressful to your pup. I'd try things to distract him with something like a bone or stuffed Kong. Or, you may just want to leave him at home...
