Mine is having the same problem and I know how annoying it has been. Please keep me updated when you find a solution to this problem =) |
Oh NO, I NEVER yell at him for any reason. He poops on the inside pad alot, but if its not there, I usually find it in the bedroom. Ok, so for two days I have closed both bedroom doors, to help limit his freedom a bit. I know that most of you would probably agree that he gets way to much freedom throughout the apartment. I will say this. It does help keep a closer eye on him. I am hoping to venture out today and get a bell, ribbon, etc. I am gonna try the bell at the sliding doors to the balcony. My BF thinks this is crazy, but if it were to work.... then so be it. On a side note: about two months or so ago, Meeko was getting into the cat's litter box for a "snack". I put our ironing board across the doorway (so the cat could still get in there by jumping over). How long do ya'll think it will take for him to "forget" or out grow the urge? I would like to remove the ironing board eventually. |

But just keep trying, they are still very young if you go by the human age times 7, at 3 months they aren't even 2 yet. I won't get too pushy till after 4 months. Ollie goes pee very quickly when I take her outside. Inside she might go to the pee pad and she might not. I have them everywhere. Once she settles on a favorite spot I'll start eliminating them. Right now we're just looking for successes that can be rewarded. |
