| Anyone else have a major jumping issue? Hey, my name's Vanessa and my little girl Azazel almost 5 months has a tendency to think she's a cat or an escape artist. We currently leave her in the kitchen while we're at work and gate it off with a gate that exceeds the countertops by a good 8 inches. She is able to jump up and get her front legs on the top of the gate, will pull herself over and jump a good 4 feet to the floor. Not only is this an issue because by finding out by a webcam we set up she does this within the first 10 minutes of us leaving, it leaves her with out food and water most of the day while we're at work and she tears up the house. I'm not sure what to do, she will eventually hurt herself and that won't be good at all. I would put her in a kennel during the day, but since we don't live close to work I don't want her to learn to go in her kennel....any advice? |
