Sometimes the advice one gives, is not received well; perhaps it is put in a way that is not to one's liking. I do want to say that Kjc, judging by all her posts is a very caring and supportive member of this forum. Sometimes"all" our experience keeps us from seeing the forest for the trees. You came here and eloquently shared your story with us. EAch one who responded to your post did so with honest and supportive intentions. At least that is what I saw. As you described your dog's behaviour, it seems clear to me your dog has a "problem", that is not necessarily one of lack of exercise/stimulation or nutrition. I hope that you do check into the link on OCD I provided and consider this seriously. I am not a long term owner of Yorkies, and my experience is limited to my one very much loved Yorkie. How-ever like you I am a long time owner of dogs, and a breeder as well, and if a client of mine described this behaviour of one of my pups I would give the very advice I gave you earlier. And as a side note, I would be aghast that any one of my pups was so disturbed! I highly doubt that any contract or bill of sale you might have signed warrants against temperament and or behaviour issues. I do sincerely hope that your Bubba and your family find a solution |
Really, I must explain why I crate train my dogs? I can completely understand why OP's just drop off, there are veteran posters on this forum that bully others into believing only their way is correct. I love to have animals in my life, they however are not my life, you won't catch me at the store covered in cat or dog hair, you won't enter my home and it smell like a pet store. Again, absolutely abrasive beings with apparently nothing better to do than attempt to contaminate others' days because of their own unhappiness. It is easy to hide behind the anonymity of a username, be hundreds sometimes thousands of miles away and feel like "oh I told them!" I can assure you there is more to life, good days are always ahead for all of us, best wishes. For the helpful and supportive comments, thanks again, we meet with a behaviorist on Tuesday :) |

I understand that you PattiNumber_H are under a lot of pressure, but you shouldn't look at the advice as blaming you , but just an attempt to find out what will work better for you. I too hope you find some solutions, it sounds like you have been very patient and methodical in your treatment, but as some have suggested, we can't always see the forest for the trees. |

I will not pick kjc reply, where she/he blantantly puts blame directly on me, I really can't waste anymore of my valuable time on this. Because this thread has escalated in such a way I will no longer post on this bias forum. If this is moderated: Please moderator, pm me so I can remove my username and all information linked. Thank you in advance. |
