This is good advise. You need to stop the abuse cycle NOW. I've been there, and sometimes at your age you do not realize the extent of the abuse and how is will affect you for the rest of your life. When I was your age there were not a lot of resources for help, but now you have numerous places to turn to. Take advantage of them. Do not wait....do it NOW.

Your Mom is going to Vegas but she doesn't have enough money for a Vet check for UTI? It's not really that expensive.

She beats your dog for marking but then plans to breed? Does she know that he will mark EVEN MORE after being bred?

Guess not. No offense, but your mother does not sound like a very smart person overall. Hitting a dog the size of a yorkie with a belt? Come on.

Young lady, if you are telling true stories, then I hope you get yourself and your dogs out of that situation and go live with your father. After the age of 14 (at least where I am) you can make that call.

Abusing your dogs in front of you is a form of abuse as well.

I've decided not to take Luke to the vet, after all. I've been watching him ever since he peed on the couch that night, and he's actually not showing any symptoms of a UTI, like I had first thought, and I'm convinced it was just marking. I didn't know it would get worse after he breeds though.

I've noticed he likes going to the bathroom alot outisde rather than inside. He hasn't gone inside all day since his accident but when I took him outside he went right away. I think just taking him outside would lessen the problem alot.

Also, I didn't mean to worry anyone. I'm sorry this is troubling you guys so much, I didn't want to keep you guys up at night, or anything. I was a little paniced that night, so I rushed on here without thinking, really. I should've considered first how much this would affect the other members on here.

So, I want to re-assure everyone that I am fine, and that the dogs are fine. My dad, though he has a lot on his plate, will most likely say something to my mom. I'll remind him again to talk to her, and if he sees how much I'm reminding him, he'll know its something he can't push aside.

I'll be taking the advice I get on here, including the bellybands, the walking, and telling my mom how much worse marking can get. My school counslers aren't back yet, but I don't think I'll need to go to them. I can trust my dad, and my godmother is also the owner of a small dog. She can probably talk some sense into my mom as well. I have another godmother as well who doesn't own a dog, but would talk to my mom if I asked her too.

I'm not going to be posting everyday anymore, partly because I'm going to Vegas, and partly because I don't want to worry you guys any more. I especially don't want to pull up any more painful memories of abuse, like I did with MsKayle.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'm really glad I got all of the help and advide I did, and I even got a chance to vent. I'm going to turn this problem over to other adults in my life that can help me as well, like you guys have been suggesting for a while now.

So rest easy, guys. The dogs and I are fine, and will be fine, from now on.

Where are the dogs staying while you're in Vegas? Who's taking care of them?

Just curious to know what if any action YT can/will take in the validity of this poster/thread continuing on as it has. If abuse is implied/admitted it would seem a moral obligation of this site to report such suspicions.
I hope either this thread is closed and investigated or Mods weigh in via a post to this thread sooner than later.
If not, I would support anyone willing to report this thread to the proper authorities...if I don't do it myself first...not happy at all about this.
