Please help!!!!

So I am new to this site. I came across it while googling ways to train a stubborn yorkie. Before I got Ted, I had researched etc. I knew they could be stubborn etc but never realized how stubborn. So, I will start by telling you about my furbabies. I have Lizzie-a german shephard mix that was rescued as a puppy from a park where she was tied up and stuffed in a trash can and left. She is around 3 years old. Instantly house broken. Very smart and sweet. (She is also spayed.) Next, we bought Ted on Christmas Eve last year when he was a baby. He was around 10 or so weeks old when we got him. He is the yorkie of course and not like any of the other yorkies i have met. The best way i can describe him is more like a cat. You know, they dont wanna be held, they would rather do their own thing. It took us like 7 months to house break him (yes we made the mistake of puppy pads and never ever thought we would break him from them.) Next we have Chance, she is another rescue. She found us at the local Duck pond and jumped in our car and decided to come live with us. After searching for her owner with no luck we have kept her. Shes around a year old a french bulldog/jack russell mix. We have had her about 3 months. Shes a ball of energy, loves to give kisses, and hugs and shes so ugly shes cute. (She is also spayed.) Anyways, last Friday Ted went to get fixed and have his extra teeth removed. Normally all 3 dogs sleep in the same super sized kennel and they all get along. So, we seperated him into the little kennel for a few days while he recovered. I am not sure if that is what has set him off or not. Anyways, I received a call from my upset hubby yesterday that Ted had began spraying the wall around the kennels while we were away. (We keep them in the kennel when we are not home so they cant get into trouble.) Apparently this started 2 days ago. His wounds are almost healed and hes doing wonderful. I think i may have waited a little too long to get him fixed though because a couple weeks ago he started trying to mark his sisters and hump them which we told him no. Now, the awful marking. I dunno how to break him! I had gotten him fixed so this wouldnt be an issue but i didnt want to fix him too early. (He will be a year old next month on the 29th) Not only that, last night i made the mistake of letting him out after dark without a leash. (Usually he is terrified of the dark and stays within site.) Last night he took off, came back and snuck off across the neighbors to see his friend Penny (which they are odd since she pretty much hates the world but for some reason they have bonded. lol) So i call for him and he ignores me. I call for him for a little while longer and i see him hide behind a tree stump. So i walk into the yard and he sees me. Runs at me barking like im a stranger, runs to my hubby on the side porch like hey guys there is a stranger here come back me up! and runs back to me barking away before he realized o thats just mom. (I joke that he is not the brightest crayon in the box since one day the mail lady brought a package to the door. He runs right past her and barks at her car while Lizzie looks at the mail lady, back at me, back at Ted like ummm whats he doing.) He is STUBBORN beyond Stubborn. He HATES being walked on the leash and would much rather dig his feet into the ground than walk anywhere. During training he is like he has ADHD. The other dogs get it. Ted just refuses to learn. So, any tips to break him of his new marking habit, and teaching him to come, sit and stay? Thanks!

Unfortunately marking usually is hard to break once they start it. You may have to invest in Belly Bands. You might also want to check to make sure he does not have a UTI.

Training lessons at petsmart or other place sound like they are needed. DON'T EVER let him off the leash or permit him to run freely in an unfenced area, that is very dangerous.

Patience and consistency are key to training any pup. I strongly suggest you go for training with your boy.

Also, I would not pack them all in a kennel, they each need their own space, really they do. Try getting an Xpen and putting the kennels in there and let them decide to go in them or not, especially if your gone for long periods.
