| My perfect baby....gone bad! My "perfect" pup has had a relapse! Night before last Jed was sniffing around while DH and I were in the living room. Before ya know it he hiked his little leg up and peed on a rug in the living room, right in front of us! Then last night he was playing with DD. She was running down the hall and he was chasing her. Well, one time she slipped into the bathroom to go potty. He runs into the living room and poos! I think that last night and the poo thing just hit him all of a sudden and it was "I gotta go NOW" type thing. It's been over a month and we haven't had ANY accidents, now two in two days! I don't know what it going on in his little brain! To be soooooo good, then whamm. gaaa He is 4 months old yesterday and he has just started lifting his leg on the pee pads. It's so funny because he is so little. But he thinks he is a big dog! Anyway, I know that this is probably normal but just had to "vent" a little. After the pooing last night I scolded him and he looked so pitiful. Just picked him up, said NO very firmly, and sat him on the pads. He went over and jumped on the couch and looked at me with those sad little eyes. Pitiful baby. |

| I have 4 male dogs living in my house and if I remember correcly (none are puppies anymore) the 3 small males went through the same thing. They are so tiny and have to go potty so often. I started setting a timer for each hour most of the time to help me remember to take them out. The accidents did get to be less and then gone as they matured. |

| He may be marking. Has he been neutered? Pasquale started to do this at 4 months old. After his neuter, he stopped marking.

| He's still very young. Just keep being consistent and he'll settle back down. |
