| Chewing....HELP!!! Having a time with my 4 month old female chewing!! Thing is she only chews on wood. I have a wooden magazine holder shaped like a duck and she has shredded it! Also a basket that I have sitting by my chair. I have found wood splinters all over my floor!! I have scolded her and then give her a raw hide to chew on, but it does no good. Any ideas???

| bitter apple spray? I think you can find it at petsmart. instead of rawhide you might try a bully stick or flossie. |

| I agree with the bitter spray. My little guy was a chewing monster! I went and got some spray and wiped down everything he might possibly be able to get his tiny lil teeth on and it really did the trick. I only wish I had done it a bit sooner, but all's well now! He eventually got over the bad habit. Just be sure to have plenty of chew toys out for her. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | By far the best deterrent is men's gel deodorant. Smear it on your wood surfaces...won't hurt them and she may taste it...once....but that's all she'll do.
