Kailani43 We used a synthetic grass pad for our 11 year old yorkie with success. I did fine it difficult to remove the odor over time. We had friends that took an extended vacation on their sailboat and taught their young yorkie to use a plastic container (similar to under the bed storage units) filled with a piece of sod that they purchased from the local home improvement store for about $3.00. They kept it out in the cockpit and periodically rinsed the grass and container with water. They reported no odor and great success when unable to get him to shore for potty breaks. |
Since we live on a boat, we trained Cody to use the Potty Patch. He'll go outside on the grass but if we're traveling and can't get him to land, he use the Potty Patch. We've tried lots of things to clean them and have ended up with Joy as the best. |
I bought that for Bella & all she wanted to do was eat it so it went back the next day! Wee Wee pads are the best thing! |
