| A victory! One step at a time... I had a little victory with Lilly tonight. I'm working on a pretty strict crate/potty schedule to get her housebroken to the outside instead of puppy pads, and I know the weather outside can sometimes be a hindrance. Well, tonight when I took her out for her last potty before we went to bed, it was snowing. I was thinking 'great, this is gonna take forever. She's not going to want to go while it's snowing.' But.... she did! It took a couple times of me telling her to go potty, but she did it! We were still out there for less than a couple minutes.... but she sniffed out a potty spot and went while it was snowing! I know I've still got a looooong way to go before she's housebroken, but this has got to be a step in the right direction... Right? I'm so proud of my girl! |

| Yikes! Snow? Seriously, I'm happy for you! We only had about an inch of snow the first winter we had Kacee!

| We didn't have any "snow" hindrance with ours, but I always have to shovel a path to the yard when it does snow. I have always noticed that they "go" much quicker when it snows! No more 15 minutes while Houston sniffs everything. He's out and in, in a flash!

| I'd like to add Zach to a victory also. He finally did his pee and poop outside and so far for two days there were no accidents in the house. We've been trying to housebreak him for a month now and he finally caught on. |
