| Should I crate train them together? I have two puppies Jax who is 7 1/2 months and Molly who is 8 1/2 months. I am having a terrible time potty training these two. when Jax was alone he used puppy pads but when Molly came they started shredding them so that is out. Sometimes they go outside and sometimes they come in the house and go after they have been outside It drives me CRAZY! I have a bell on the door but they haven't 'got' it yet. I take them out every hour when I am home. Like I said sometimes they go but most times they play....Jax actually pees everytime but I think he is just squeezing it out to mark. Molly can hold it for FOREVER! I am at my wit's end with these two however it is my own fault. I have let them have free roam of my house since day one. I know, I know...dumb! Anyway after steamcleaning my carpets for the second time in 2 months I have decided to crate them. They do really well during the day when I am at work. I crate them at 8am and let them out at noon then again when my husband gets home at 3 and from then on its pee where you want to time I guess! Anyway, I leave them in an expen. Big enough for two....but small enought that they don't ever go in there so is it okay to crate them together like this. I feel so mean putting them in there when I am home. They bark constantly if they know we are home. I know this is what I have to do though to keep my rugs safe So I guess my question is...is it okay to use an expen and crate them together as long as they don't go potty in the expen?

| Two puppies can be very challenging. Experts recommend training them separately, including separate crates. This article has some good advice: Two Puppies or One? - VeterinaryPartner.com - a VIN company! |

| Ziva lived in the blocked off dining room( tiled floor) for months. We spent tons of time in there and she was papertrained in the corner- when she transitioned to free roam it was to outside and paper in the garage at night, That took awhile cause she didn't know how to hold it long enough to get outside, she still has a small "capacity".(6lbs) |
