We were leaving him in an expen even while we were in the house when we didn't want to keep such a close eye on him. That's when he would bark so much, when he was in the expen and we were in the living room. He hated to be left alone away from us, he wanted to be with the pack.
So we stopped expening him when we were at home. We kept him with us in the living room. For potty training, we leashed him to us so we could watch himmmore carefully. Also we crated him and put the crate right next to us.
So I second the suggestion of not putting him in the expen while you guys are at home. Wish you luck! |
