I just want to wish you good luck finding a good home for Mindy. It's obvious from all your posts how much you care about her and how hard you're working to find the correct placement for her. Hugs!

Thank you for explaining the situation. I might have read wrong and thought you meant you were thinking of putting her to sleep. Glad to hear it was just a misunderstanding.

I think you and Mindy need to relax, go take a bubble bath and have Mindy inside the bathroom with you. Now everyone will be happy for atleast an hour.

You've put alot of effort into her -She is young and can be turned around in the right home I bet....and you'll be able to live with yourself knowing you did all you could

The lady at the rescue wrote me this morning and said they wont be taking Mindy because of "the issues tied to her".. Two very short sentences. She said they didn't know about being threatened by a lawsuit before, Nothing else. I am completely confused!

It was a rescue Jodi had set up to take Mindy. Welcome to People United for Pets!

Frankly I see black mail I need money or I turn you non blood drawing yorkie that nipped me into the feds..blah blah blah.
I still think your best course of action is Terry Ryan. You need an assesment of why the bite happened and if the says assesment that the kids caused the bite then they can suck wind.
There is no Law suit there is not action in motion get the dog to disappear.
what about the big rescue in Best Freinds the one on TV they take every thing even biters that have no place to go and they will come get them.

They read this thread and agreed to take her.

What kind of damage can this little girl do? Surely she has not mauled someone. I am totally lost on this one.

You and me both! No lawsuit, only like I said before they wanted us to pay the ER bill, the rest was all talk.

I tried several times to get this woman at the rescue to call me but she didn't and wouldn't give me her number so I have no idea what exactly she meant..

Well she drew blood and thats all they have to do to be tagged "vicious":rolleyes: it's stupid.. But they did not call AC I know that, even though they threatened it.

I don't think they read the thread, only went by what Jodi told them and she had not read the 2nd page yet so she didn't know

Probably, but she did draw blood and she has done it before.. I cannot afford a trainer or an assessment. Who is Terry Ryan?

I don't know of any rescue called best friends, where is that located?
