This is all the stuff that my Lacey knew. Her favorite toy was a rawhide bone. She would not just chew on that bone, but she had to flip it in the air a few times before chewing on it. It was so funny to watch her toss her bone high in the air. She also knew all the dogs and cats in the neighborhood by name. You would mention a certain animal's name and she would go to the window, barking and looking for him or her. We could not even spell the word cat, because even spelling it, she knew what we were saying. At 9 p.m., she knew it was time for bed somehow. It never failed. Every night around 9 p.m., she would walk toward the bedroom. And if my dad was still watching TV or something, she would continue to bark at him, until he got up and went to bed. If she wanted to show off and wanted attention, she would grab the rag from her dog bed. Put it over her head and pretend she was a ghost. Then, bark like crazy because she could not get it off. You say, where's daddy? And she would go look towards the laundry room, because that is the door he would use to come in from work. And when she had ear infections, we had to give her drops. All you had to do was mention the word "medicine" or show her the bottle, and she would go hide behind the couch. And every Christmas, all we had to do was say "It is time to go open presents, Lacey." And she would go under the tree, try to find hers, and opened it up herself. A few times, she opened ours by mistake. Of course. But she understood what to do. Oh, and I forgot, her favorite was when I would come home and say, flip Lacey, flip. And she would flip on her back, waiting to get her little belly rubbed. She used to love that. |
Wow you all have some very talented babies! Jersey can dance :D that's it. She potty's on the floor (beside her pad not on it), dumps her food out of her bowl, walks through her water bowl, barks at anything that moves, steals socks and hides them...it's a good thing she's so cute! We can turn on music and say "let's dance" and she will come running at top speed, sings along to the music and jumps around and turns while standing on her hind legs. LOL we are amazed that she can walk like that all the way around the room with her front paws kinda tucked in at her sides. It is hilarious to see :p |
