Leash made for 3?
 
I would like to buy a leash that will work to walk all 3 at the same time without getting tangled. Any good suggestions? :confused:

I saw some couplers to use with a regular leash online. For example:

I would like something that was a little longer and attached higher up on the leash. I've seen someone walking with what I am thinking of and it had a swivel so they were not all so close together.

I have one like that for two, where the swivel is at the end of handle. I looked all over for something similar for three but never did find, except for the ones that she posted. So I ended up adding (made it myself) a third leash to it and it works so so. but it does the trick. but I do have to hold them tight otherwise one gets wrapped around your legs. :D

this could be used on any pre existing leash you have. It says its 12 inches long so that should give them a little space.

i found these while looking for one....haven't tried them...but i am thinking about getting the 24 in coupler so they have more room to do their own thing...lol

Linda of FuFuFashion recommended this one...since it also swivel up top...so they they don't get all tangled up....but i have 3 currently and maybe have 2 more soon...so i need something that can hold all! haha

this is what we use too

there is a clip on third ring and it does not get tangled for two but the third you have to get the clip on and clip it at top then unclip it if they tangle - works real well for two and third works but you have to clip and unclip at times

Thank you so much! I remember seeing her post about this in the past and couldn't remember where it was and who she suggested it to~now I rememeber! It was to a video that you posted walking your pack and she suggested this leash. I had tried to search but couldn't find the thread and was making myself crazy. Thank you sooooo much :D

Yes I actually have one of those and it is very hard to get them to walk together since the webbing it so short. I was looking for something like the one that Mary posted. I'm wondering how they would do with it since it is NOT cheap.

If you decide to get it what the lady at pet expo told me is you put the craziest walker on the one with the clip so you can unclip and re-clip them as that way it works best as well. So my two yorkis walk nicely side by side and demi is crazy weaving in and out so i have to unclip her if she gets tangled and reclip her and the yorks never tangle

yeah it works real well for two - three is a bit tricky but it works

now i will not be there....i wish...but due to my financial dues to Uncle Sam lol and my sister's white jacket ceremony in St Louis on the 13th. Usually people don't get their Doctor's jacket until they graduated but she tested so high that they are giving it to her 2 years early...and it's one big accomplishment that we as in the family is so proud of and wouldn't miss it for the world!

That is awesome Congrats to your sis - two years early WOW glad to have a sharp Doc in the world. Too bad you cannot make it was looking forward to seeing you as you are an awesome photographer :(

I found 2 on Ebay but they are L's :( Only $17 including shipping too. Now that I know what they are called I'm going to keep looking. They are a pretty simple concept because the upper ring swivels and the attached clips swivel too. I'm going to check The Find right now too. Thanks :)

On two separate incidents I've seen retractable leads fail with (medium size) dogs that pulled. Both times the dogs pulled so much that it unclipped springing back towards the persons face. It missed my mother-in-law's eye by a quarter inch. She bled and had a swollen black eye. The other time was at a park where the person turned away quickly but it got her on the side her head. :eek:

So, if your yorkies walk nicely I would get it, otherwise I would prefer the one with the handle.
