| How can I help him? It seems that Kaji's irrational fears are getting a little worse. Before, I could take him to the park and he'd be very interested in all the other dogs. He would love to chase Uni when we had play dates and only if there was a big scary noise did he back off and come hide. Lately, he's less interested in playing with other dogs and he doesn't enthusiastically go up to them to greet them like he use to. I have an example vid, and I apologize for the vid quality, I took it with my cell phone. We were at Petco and he was fine. He was excited, sniffed the entire store (I'm not kidding) and wanted to say hi to all the pups. Then suddenly he didn't. The second vid, when he's in my arms he's shaking, which I don't know if it captured. I really want to know what to do to help him. We can walk around outside better and he's not pulling as much anymore. I also don't know if I'm making it worse by making him think it's ok to act that way, or encouraging the behavior. What do I do???

| Ok, I don't know what is wrong with the vids. When I play them on my phone you can hear him cry and whine. I don't know how to fix that either.

| poor Kaji! What's that weird sound in the background in the beginning of the vid? Sounds like you guys are being hunted in some petco predator land planet or something.

| I don't know. There really shouldn't be any noise other than his crying. I don't know what happened when I tried to upload it. All I know is either on his own or in my arms, he's not happy anymore. He hardly plays with Uni on the play dates anymore.

| He growled at a little kid today. Boy was I embarrassed. The little kid was minding his business and Kaji did his German shepherd growl. Good thing the boy was a toddler and it didn't phase him one bit.

| Toddlers need to be growled at. *gasp* did I just say that??? LOL looks like it's just me and you on this thread so I guess it doesn't really matter. Maybe Kaji is protesting his new diggs. He wants back to his old place. I'm sure once he accepts that his new place is his place he will calm down. Hopefully. Do you thing he'll be ok at the meetup? I asked adi and missy if they can go too. What are you gonna bring?

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I think we'll go! and I have a great boom about helping shy dogs! I will take and maybe it can help Kaji! I did some of the stuff with Missy and she's been less of a scardey cat. I make awesome Mexican rice, can I take that?

| MMMM.... I love rice! More like I LOVE CARBS!!!! Now that you mention it Priscilla, he has been acting up ever since we moved to LA. I know he loved Irvine, you've seen it. I think he's having less doggy interaction, and less exercise so he's withdrawing back into his shell. It really sucks! We were making such good progress on the scaredy cat stuff.
