| Hi Cindy I'm training Lienkie on newspaper as she has to stay inside when i go to work during the day. What i did (at age 8weeks) and still do is as soon as i see that she has to go being it after she ate or in between, i pick her up and put her on the newspaper saying pie-pie. When she tries to scurrel away i pick her up again and again place her on the newspaper saying pie-pie. I do that the whole time until she needs to go so bad that she does it on the newspaper then i reward her with lots of praise and a treat so that she can see that that i what i want her to do. She now goes on her own but still have her mishaps. Sometimes they just can't help. I'd say keep on doing this until it works, it takes a lot of patience but it worked for me. If outside use the same method. Good luck
