Have you happened to search for a suitable pan yet? I did briefly the other day but didn't really want blue and want a good size one... I buy the larger piddle pads and have tons of them so don't want to change now. |
Here is a link to a post from a while back with a picture of the pan I use. I use the largest piddle pad and it fits just fine. BTW my Yorkie Jazzie is a 10+ pound full figured gal and she has plenty of room to "find" the perfect spot. She's fussy and will "roll up" the pad after use. I just spin it 90 degrees and she's ok with it. - If only I can understand how she thinks! LOL! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...d-roll-up.html |

Something to Consider Very odd...I posted a reply, but I don't know where it went. Anyway, just something to keep in mind. I got Sydney a Second Nature litter pan months ago. I too put her puppy pad in the bottom of it. Syd is puppy pad trained and does pretty well at 6 months. She will not, however, use the pad on her own if it's in the litter pan. The only times I can get her to use it is in the middle of the night when she's half asleep. Even then I have to pick her up and put her inside of it. During the day, I leave it out near the living room so she can sniff the outside of it. If I put her in the pan during the day, she sniffs a bit, but then she starts to shake and look sad. So remember, you can lead a dog to a litter pan, but you can't make her make. |
