| Training Advice Ok, so I have Sophie, shes 2 yrs old. We rescued her in June of this year. She was a puppy mill dog so she was never trained before. As of now we have walking on a leash and the command to "Sit" down. I can sometimes get her to shake. Might I add that she learned "sit" and "shake" in 2 days, so she is smart. but how do i get her to "stay." she always comes to me when i say stay. We are working everyday on her trianing, but i cant seem to get any farther than sit and shake. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also please know that i dont expect her to do everything at once, but now that she is so much better around humans I am ready to start the obedience part of training. THANKS!! for any advice you can give. *** and oh yes, i am so proud of my baby for how far she has come in a few short months!!! |
