| Potty training pickyness So Luna has done amazing with her puppy pad training. She pees on it every time now. No accidents unless were in a room with no pad down for too long. However she can NOT seem to grasp the concept of pooping on the pad. I thought it was just because dogs are picky about finding a spot to poop (I know from experience of waiting outside for ages in the freezing cold so they can get that PERFECT spot) so I put down several pads and no luck what- so - ever. Any advice? I am doing the crate train method.

| Mine was pee trained much faster than poo trained. Whenever i noticed that he was getting into the poo position i would carry him to the pee pad and tell him to poo. after consistently placing him on the pad he got the hint to poo there. this took several weeks after pee trained to sink in. |

| Maybe you could try taking the poop she did on the floor and putting it on the pad for a little bit of time for her to see it there and after you clean it up she will still smell that it was there. .Maybe she will think to do it there next time .Just a suggestion I dont know if it would work for sure. |
