| peeing too much? Hi I realize this little guy is only 11 weeks old and I dont in any way expect him to be trained anytime soon ,but just wondering if his peeing so often could be a health issue. I will take him out and he will pee and poop . I bring him in and he will pee again within a few minutes. He will sleep from 9:00pm till 5:00 am and not cry at all to go out. I just wondered if he pees more than he should be at this age.. He has been dewormed and first shots vet checked etc. He seems to pee every 15 min or so. I bring him outside often and I he also will use pee pads but often he will pee on the rug or hard floor. He just suddenly squats so fast I run to get him.I keep him confined when I am too busy to watch him. I got my other yorkie at over a year old so not sure what to expect with a puppy. Thanks |

| Does he have access to water all day long? Our guy was 14 weeks when we brought him home. When we were housebreaking him we gave him water at regular intervals during the day and then took him out shortly (10 minutes or so) afterwards. He'll be 6 months old soon and I can leave the water out all day for him now. We do, however, take it away a couple of hours before bed. I think their bladders are quite tiny at that age and what goes in comes out fairly quickly! |
