Oh forget it I googled it shes on animal planet at 9 am today. Im gonna watch it and I will let you know what I think

Her new shows are on Sat nights on Animal Planet. I think at 9:00 pm, but better check it out. Occasionally they run all day marathons of her shows.

It was on this morning and I watched it and it was pretty good. I think I need to watch a few more episodes before giving an opinion. I did notice one of her training methods for getting the dogs not to jump up on you when you come through the door is the same as Tamar Gellars. She wants you to be your dogs leader which I think is good. Anyway cant wait to see it tomorrow night

Ohh, I'm gonna watch tonight! I never knew when the new ones came on, I always catch repeats.

LOL! She does remind me of Mary Poppins, that's a good example.

I mean... a lot of times the owners DO need to be put in their place and sometimes she probably HAS to be a bitch, I just wish sometimes she would tone it down. But that's also what keeps so many people watching her show, too. So I see why she does it, totally. I mean, all in all, I like Victoria Stillwell. I watch her show whenever I can and I do learn things from it for sure.

My favorite episode still has to be Stains, the Australian Shepherd and that other little dog (Peanut, was it?) I think that was her first episode of her show? Maybe I'm wrong.

No it was not her first show, and I agree too, I loved that episoode:p The cupcakes , wer eso funny and the look on Stains poor little face as u know he wanted them!!! that was too funny . I did not like his name though . Stains, to me it had a negative impression about him, however, he was a smart dog , indeed ! That was a memorable show. I still am unable to watch her new shows , we watch AMW and it's at the same time her show is on . :( They don't have repeat shows either right now where we live .

It was a good eppy. One dog had dog aggression issues, one had people aggression issues, and one refused to take a bath. There were a lot of good tips, including how to walk dogs when you have a stroller, and a new concept, the poop fence!

I need to re-watch it to get a better plan in place for when Thor barks at dogs.

Done any work at doing to opposite of stanard practice.
Look at the stuff on C.A.T. would be Kellie Sniders and blast can not remeber his name. Truly some new stuff thats been helping a wee girl I know a little.

Where it is differnt is that to get a dog to leave the dog that usually explodes must stay calm.

Not got a total handle on this as it not out in a from I can read and the confrence I wanted to go to was at a time I was not avalible to go.

I watched the Dog House guy too. Hate him, ha ha! Though technically I prefer his methods because he does not appear to use physical force. Still I think anyone with a yorkie will hate him because he's typical old school, and thinks dogs get "spoiled" if they are let on the the furniture.

I think people who produce training shows feel like there has to be dramatic conflict. Cesar squares off with dogs, Victoria is bitchy with owners, and this new guy is just a jerk generally. "Fixing the relationship by fixing the dogs" seems to be part of the formula too. Puke.

Sounds like the one up in Calgary Brad Patterson that has a show thinks he is a Pycologist for humans along with a dog trainer.
