I need advice on potty patch training I bought a new Potty patch for my 2 nine week old girls they both do well on potty pads how should I go about switching them without confusion cause they are doing great with pads. Thanks:) Any Advice please help! |
place the pad on the potty patch for a week and then you can slowly cut the pad into smaller piece until the pad is gone...good luck :) |
Is a potty patch fake grass? If so, report back on this thread on how it goes. I purchased a fake grass thing from someone on this list and had one family crisis after another and have not used it yet. I am ready to start now. |

Thanks for replying so quickly. We have the kind of faux grass that goes on a 6" platform that has something that catches the urine under it. Do you suggest that we maybe start with the grass on top of the pad and then add the platform later, or should we start with the whole thing so we don't have to train her twice? |

We tried putting the pad on top of the grass, because I did not come back here to read until now. ;) She has continued to go on the pad even though it is on top of the grass. The only downside thus far, is she likes to lay on it. I don't exactly want to pet her after she has laid on a wet pad. :( I will get out the platform and see how it goes. I will report back tomorrow evening most likely. I hope she won't mind jumping up on it to do business. |
