| Help! Charlie recently started barking loudly at other dogs and acts really aggressive towards them. I am embarrassed to take him outside. The minute he spots another dog, he goes crazy. I don't know what to do to stop this. |

I love the Dog Whisperer a tad more though. But anyways, what I would try... bring a tiny squirt bottle of some sort out on walks with you and when he begins to bark like crazy at other dogs, etc, then just a quick squirt in his face may get him to stop. This works for a lot of dogs, but not all. Try not to let him see where the squirt is coming from. But he should associate barking with getting water in his face and will eventually stop, hopefully. If that doesn't work, I would try to just guide him in a complete opposite direction when he does that. Let him know when he starts barking at the other dogs, etc, he's not going to get to walk any further. Simply turn him around and away from the object he's barking at... and don't begin walking again until he's calm.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Being neutered will help. Nolee is an only furbaby and he does the same thing. I think he is just excited to be around other dogs. I take him to a doggie daycare sometimes. I feel he needs to socialize more. This has helped.

| get a can, or even a small plastic cup with a lid will do , put some change in it, when he barks say NO, throw the cup down beside him to startle him, this worked with my puppy after the first time, now all I have to do is show him the cup |
