I don't think she has a UTI though, I need to look up the symptoms. She doesn't pee all the time, it's just like when she has to go - she makes no priority to make it on the pad, she just pees wherever she's standing. She could be playing and then just pop a squat and piss then go back to playing.

She doesn't even try to go to a different room to pee. We can be watching TV and look over and she'll just pee right in front of us. Today, she peed right in front of my boyfriend's foot.

Somewhere recently she untrained herself. If it isn't a UTI or being able to smell prior pee spots, I would treat her as a puppy until she gets the hang of it again.

Well, I took the poor Bug to the vet this morning because she peed on our bed last night and then the couch again this morning. I was so upset and it just didn't seem like her.

The vet said that she was running a small fever which may mean that she was beginning to get a UTI. He gave me some amoxicillan that I'm supposed to give her twice a day for 7 days. He said if she has something then that will kick it out. If she's still doing it then I reckon we have to go back to Potty Training 101! How fun. I really hope if she's not feeling well that she starts feeling better soon.

None of it really makes sense. BUT! Let's hope for the best.

This kind of happened to me , Laci came to me pee pee pad trained, she never ever had an accident off pee pads, then I had my rugs cleaned , apparently the rug cleaner they used contained amonia, I had no idea this would effect her.. well she started to use my house as a litter box, I found of from a trainer that he has heard this story a million times... have you possibly used some type of cleaner that contains and attractant!!

That's odd! I don't think so though... it's a cleaner used for cleaning up pet stains. Hm... that's interesting though, I'm going to check out the ingredients in it.

Have you considered geting a doggie door? They've more than once saved me. We have no problems.

Is your girl spayed? Sometimes intact females 'mark' to attract males. If she is spayed...I hope the antibiotics work & it was indeed UTI & she's back to peeing on the pee-pad.

You know, that Phoebe was doing that while ago, and she is very good, she is the one that train Shayna and Melody, because they follow her a lot since day one, so I was like what a heckso I took her to the vet and he ck her, I mean ck her, and find nothing wrong with her she was fine thank God, anyway the vet ask me if there anything different of our schedule etc, I told him that my twin was here visiting and he said oh well you just have a behavior problem here if she feel left out she probably just want some attention blah, blah, blah, then I came home and give her extra attention and all that, and guess what? he was right, she went back to herself you know my male cat pee on my twin laptop case and Phoebe pee on the couch where she like to seat, I was so embarrass with her, I don't know if is because she has bunnies back home and my mom has a male poodle, and they can smell them but hubby felt so bad that we got her a new laptop cover lol and we had to keep the door of her bedroom close, sorry for the long post.

I know exactly how you feel. Some weeks Harley will go without one single accident and I think I've got it all whooped....then he pops up and starting peeing on the carpet again. He even went on the bed in my guest room..which blew my mind because he had never went to potty on the bed. It's a constant battle with him. He has went through these stages several times where he does really good and then he regresses. I'm not sure why they do that. Maybe its for the attention? I'm not sure.

Nope....Where I live, I worry about other (things, etc.) coming in and out of that "doggie door" if I got one..LOL! And don't they allow cold air in in the winter, too? Plus, we have a closed back porch built on to the back of our house. It has a screen door type door out there once he leaves the actual house.

HOWEVER...I saw another post in another thread somewhere that suggested a "BELL" by or on the door. Wow, I was unsure at first, but this really works!!!!!! All day long, "Ring..Ring..Ring", and off to the door we go! Open the door and then he jumps on the outer door to go outside. He hasn't had an accident in the house now in quit some time! My son gets frustrated with the bell all day and takes his time or don't go at all and then the accident happened. But now he's learned..LOL. Bell ring, take off and open the door..LOL! My Neko is doing GREAT now! =) He has so much more freedom over the house now. He even sleeps in my room with me..=) We do still "confine" him when we leave home for hours, tho!
