My son needs help please He and his girlfriend moved in together She has a 9 month old Maltese that will not poo on any pad nor will it poo outside. My son said that he's had the dog with him outside half a day and no poo. My son said as soon as he would open the front door she would take the biggest poo in the house within minutes. He said he refuses to have poo all over the house. She will pee on her pad. I know Jemma won't poo where she peed. I suggested he put more pads down in different places. He's been there done that. I'm so new to the small breed that I just have no clue what to say to him. Sons, hmmmm, expect Mom to have all the answers....I should ..wink wink I asked for help here already today...sigh...sorry bout that. Ummm, no I'm not, lol Carol and Jemma Lots of pee and poo words in this post eh?

is there a reason they are using pee pads??? I know NOTHING about pee pad training but if they would be willing to train her outside they might have better success.

It's not clear from your post, but are they trying to get her to potty both inside and outside? It's too confusing at this stage to try two different methods. She probably has no idea what is expected of her. The key is to be consistent and make sure she knows what she is supposed to do, then when she does it, praise, praise, praise!
