okay... so charlie was doing great with the whole potty training thing-- (going on the pad) for about a week and now he goes every where else but the pad... hes at the point where he biting everything and barks and growls at everything... im trying very hard to train him and to stop him from doing all those things but it doesnt seem to be working... its getting a little frustrating... advice anyone?

i was also wondering does the type of potty pad make a difference? (as far as brands are concerned) is there any out there that are better to use for him?

oh and another thing-- is there a certain type of shampoo that i should use or stay away from for yorkies???

I think its like anything else. There is going to be trying times where one minute it seems like they have it just to turn around and see them peeing off the pad. Patience & praise is key. As far as shampoo. I use minksheen. I use baby shampoo around their faces though..
