I haven't had any first hand expeirence with this but I know a common tip is to feed them a couple fo pieces of pineapple with their meal. Supposedly it stops them from eating the poo. Good luck! |
Poop Patrol Mine is just getting over this nasty habit. I give him 2 tsp of crushed pineapple in the morning after kibble. 1 Deter at night before dinner (used it for a little over 2 weeks). AND most importantly.... practiced my Pack Leader rules according to Cesar Milan (a must). Try googling "Pack Leader Rules" and follow them to a T. Eating poo is a protection instinct passed down from wolf packs - there's a whole bunch of stuff out on the internet about it. |
I am so glad to hear that I am not the only that goes through that. It makes me so sick when I see my baby Belle eat your poop too. The vet told me it was mostly cuz of the protein that they smell in their poop. I havent tried giving her any pills or anything like that. I have just been watching her everytime she poops. Thanks for letting me know im not the only one. :) |
