| strange behavior with charlie I don't know what happen to Charlie this past couple of days. He has been acting strange. He is walking around the house with his tail up and he is always in the attack mode. For example this morning, I took him out for potty. When we came in, i let him roam around the house. I had to make coffee for the husband. I came into the living room to check on him..he was sitting in the attack position getting ready to attack..his head and hands was down on the ground, his butt up high..his tail was up...I distracted him and call him to me with treat. He has been acting hostile. Could it be that he is in his humping stages? He loves fetch..now he doesn't even want to play fetch. He is uninterested in the game. He loves to play hide and seek with me where I hide with treats and he has to come find me. He doesn't care. He doesn't even want to play the "come" game anymore. All he wants to do is steal things and run fast around the house with it. I don't chase after him. Before I traded with him and he will give it to me. Now he will run away if he sees me approaching him with treats or another toy. So i tried to ignore him and walk away..he doesn't care. Before he will drop whatever he stole and chase after me... |

| You didn't say how old your pup was .... But I had a similar thing going on with my two guys when they were about three months old They started stalking each other ... and chasing each other qall over the house I think it was just that their stalking instinct kicked in where they stare and freeze and then pounce and chase Instead of lookingat it as a negative thing why not play into it it doesn't sound like he's hurting anything and basically it's just play My guys still do it from time to time but much less than before

Thor's Human Donating Member | Are you this isn't just a play bow? When Thor gets like that, he wants to chase and be chased.

That sounds like a classic "I want to play" stance.
