| pee pad and outdoor?? ok,i am getting my puppy at christmas. i kno this is not a great time as holidays are hectic esp mine with divorced parents, but i want to have time to bond with her before next semester starts...anyway, the biggest issue with this is the potty training. I have pee pads for her to use, but my stepmom says those are gross and doesnt want them in her house. so when I am at my moms I can use them but when I spend the week with my dad I can not.Can she be indoor and outdoor trained? This would actually be ideal, as going down three flights of stairs at nite alone when I get back to my apt at school is not safe so could she use the pee pad at nite nd outdoor during the day?Or would I confuse the poor thing?Thoughts on this or ways to help her adjust are most appreciated!!

| I would stick with one an as for me pee pads are easy and well since you are older and in collage then just visit your dad and stay at your own place... or tell the SM that you will clean up any messes.. Good luck |

| We tried both at first....and I think it does confuse them. The Pee Pads aren't that gross...they'll soak up pretty good. & they're a whole lot easier, like you said--not going outside alone & when it's cold, etc. Emma will go outside if we're playing outside or whatever...but in the beginning, she'd hesitate to go on the pad knowing she went outside last. |
