ARGH!!! I just gave all of them a bath...prior to the bath i took them outside to potty...after bathing them i place them in kennel while i have the blow drying going on cool...as i took one by one out to brush while the other were drying...he decides he is going to shiet in the kennel while both him and yoshi was in there drying...i come back and i could smell it...made me so mad...so i had to spray and clean ou the kennel and throw all the towels into the washer... after finally brushing all of them and they were all done drying i take them back outside to potty...and then came back in and let them run around the laundry room for a good 2 hours...inside the laundry room i have 2 ugodog down with peepads underneath for them to go potty if they need too while playing...Kioko doesn't haven't a problem peeing outside on on those...when i come back and tell them its nite nite time...place them in their crate and not more than 10 minutes later i come out to the same freaking smell...my living room smells like crap...kioko's crap to be exact... guess what he did again...he pooped inside his crate and i found him laying on top of it...does that comfort him...wth is going on in his thick skull...i am out of ideas...and patience is running low...argh!!! |
What does your Vet say about this problem? Have you spoken to your Vet yet? Maybe some type of medical or behavioral intervention may be needed??? |

I'm new to the forum Hi there! I'm new to this forum and i've been looking every where to find answers to Yorkie questions. What is the best food for Yorkies. I've also heard that Yorkies can never be potty trained...is that true. What is the best method for cleaning around their lil eyes and getting rid of the odor? |
i have the same stuff with my tug needless to say i will never own another yorkie again. i will always get a yorkie mix they learn so much faster and as far as i am concerned they are smarter. my yorkie-poo was totaly house broke at 6 months and does all the basic commands she is almost a year now and we havnt had an accident with her but my tug is now coming up on 9 months and is still pooping in the house. he wont pee but he sure loves to poop in the house. all he does is sit i have been working on lay with him for it seems like forever maybe he is mentally challenged i dont know. he sure is cute though and we do love him even with all the frusteration he causes. good luck |

he can only stand up, sit down, lay down and turn around in the crate...that is why he will do it and lay down on it... but i have to post and update on here...i really don't want to jinx myself...but today and yesterday it was a miracle...he actually pee and poop outisde...i mean he is still going inside his crate but i was happy to see that he is actually pooping outside...and i praise and praise him...so maybe soon it will be all outside..hehe |

Dogs do not like to potty where they sleep and eat. So if you reduce the space and put his food in there that should fix the problem. Also most dogs are on a schedule, once you figure that out, that will help as well. Sometimes i have to keep my baby out until he poops. Which sometimes is a long time. But now that I have him on a schedule he normally goes pretty quick. Normally when he wakes up in the morning and after he eats dinner. Hope this helps! :D |

Vets deal with behavioral issues also, it won't hurt to bring the issue up with the vet. |
