| training classes I have thought about putting Rascal in a training class. Is a well mannered, not-to-hyper Yorkie. I was wondering if anyone has had success or failures with this.

| I think classes are a great way to socialize and get a well behaved dog. I don't have much other help than this. I haven't taken my three to training yet, but I plan to do it this summer. Another dog that I had I took to training and after having to rehome her I still keep up with her new owner and he says she still knows all the stuff that she learned at training

| Thank you! I haven't ever done formal training and I guess I just need some reassurance that I am making the right decision.

| Training is as much for you as it is for your dog. I put Gracie through puppy school, thought I learned everything. But remembering is something else. Over a year later and I put Holly in puppy school, because "I" need the refresher course. She is enjoying the socialization!

| I understand. I think we will both enjoy it. Did your puppy do well with the training?

| i was thinking about putting my Sophie in training. Is there a type anyone would recommend. She really needs help with the barking(socializing). Do I need to find a specialty place or would petsmart work?? |

| Meeko has 2 weeks left of his Petsmart puppy class and he's learned a lot! You have to work at home but, they usually pick up on the tricks within 15 minutes or so! I would def do it again1 Good luck on training!! |

| I was looking around...I have found some in my area that they come to your home and work with you. But its like 500.00 for (5) 1hour sessions. granted it would be completely devoted to me. I think maybe start with the petsmart. If there is lots of work still needed, maybe the other one. I had no idea it would be that expensive. |
