| eating and play biting Ok I admit I havent had a puppy in 7 yrs and this is my first yorkie. I am crate training as well as potty outside. I am home most all day and seems to be fine sleeping in crate. and going outside is going well. He doesnt seem to eat a whole lot though? maybe a half a cup all day..? i offer him food when not in crate works out to be about 3 times for food. and has water all day access. He is 8 1/2 wks old. by the way yes he is outside crate more than 3 times a day I just dont do food all day. he is doing fine potting and playful has can be. sorry so long. |

| Were you asking about "play biting?" If you were, I used a sharp "eeek" when ever mine try biting. Others have mentioned using a soda bottle with coins in it. (My dogs stop everything when I shake one of those. ) Others have suggested having a chew toy close by and put it into their mouths. You do have a very young one there so I suppose it will take a lot of training and patience. There is a "search" button at the top of each page. That may help you.
