Outside trained... I don't think I could handle the pee pads very well. Coming home to pee and poo in my kitchen just doesn't do it for me. Both my dogs do great and Crickett hasn't had an accident in over a week. I am so proud of her. I know for some, pee pads is the only way they can potty train. My grandmother uses the pee pads for her two daschunds. It is easier for her than putting them on leashes everytime they have to go out. She doesn't have a fenced in yard and lives near a highway. Our back yard is fenced in so I just have to open the door and say "go potty" and off they go to do their business. Good Luck!! I know it is frustrating to train them no matter what method you use!! Just have LOTS of patience!! |
I can't wait to have a fenced yard! But, for now (well for the last 3 years) we put them on Flexi leashes and just stand in the door or on the porch. Obviously that doesn't work for everyone, but it works pretty well for me being in a townhouse where I can't build a fence. |
Oh yes back outside and we peed YaY. Doin the happy dance. Keep you fingers crossed.:clapsmile :cheer: :clapsmile :cheer: :clapsmile :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: |
totally outside. i prefer my dogs to not poop in my house. don't want to deal with the clean up, the smell, and the cost of pads. Morgan started going outside at 13 weeks when i got her. she's almost two now and i can open the door and let her out to potty while i watch her. we don't have a fenced in yard but she listens. she always holds it until we get home from work. only time she's had an accident in the house within the past couple months is when she had diarrhea....couldn't hold it. |
