also scar tactic's could have a affect on him the rest of his life.. I have this tiny now at 3.5 that was attacked by another yorkie.. he has not gotten over it and that was 4 years ago.. when traumatic things happen to these guys, it is never to be forgotten.. so think hard on which you decide.. I am sure other will say I am correct in saying this..like an abused yorkie, that never lets you pet his head, even if you have him for 12 years of his life and he loves you, it he was hit in the head, he never gets over this.. You need to protect him to now end.. and also you need to learn to let him know you are the alfa dog.. I get a kick out of people who say oh the dog will not let me do this or that.. hello, you are the roll model... and this does not have to be beaten into a yorkie neither... pooh;s mum |

I started a post a few weeks ago asking what the name of the harness is that makes them feel like their feet are coming out from under them if they pull. This has got to be it. THANK YOU:) |

calming gel? I just went to a local pet supply store today and found a product called L-Travel Ease http://www.aahinc.com/header/companim/lick/travel.htm I spoke to the salesman who said that it's OK for puppies since there is direction for puppies on the tube. Wanted to know if anyone had experience with this? I wanted to get it for Duke so that he can be calmer during bath time.:animal-pa |
i don't think giving them those calming remedy is a good thing..i usually just take them out for a long walk or play with them for a long time before i give them baths..that takes the energy out and no med needed.... |
