"PeTalk" Pet Voice Mail http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1102169922705 PeTalk is the portable machine that lets you record up to a 10 second message for your pet, then allows you set the frequency of playback, as often as once per hour. Hearing your voice while you're away will comfort your pet when they're left home alone, when they're in a kennel, or at the vet's recovering from surgery. It measures just 3.5"W x 2.5"H so it's perfect to hang on crates or kennels. Requires 4 "AAA" batteries (not included).

That's a good idea, I've got to wonder how a Yorkie responds though from your voice on a machine when you aren't home...

That is neat. Charlie knows voices his head will turn side ways when I put him on speaker when my mom is on the phone and wants to talk with him. He knows her voice

speaker phone I do that too, with the speaker phone. Actually, I meant with the answering machine. I call and leave them a message that they hear. And I've seen what they do....they cock their cute little heads and perk up their ears...they know it's me, I'm sure. LOL
