Although it's not warm enough to open my pool up, me and the dogs were sitting out by the pool yesterday. The cover is still on, but it has several feet of water on top of the cover. This is Pixie's first spring/summer with us. I didn't know how she would feel about the pool and taking a swim. Jazzy, my Westie hates the pool. Miss Pixie jumped right in and swam around like a pro. I had to coax her to swim over to me so I could help her out. She really enjoyed it. I guess she will swim with me all summer. I hope so. She's something else that Pixie girl.

That's so nice. My Pheoebe is scared of the watter even in the bath let alone in a pool. But I think my baby boy Boo-Boo will b a really good swimmer. Will have to wait and see tho'. LOL

Duke loves water! I am planning on buying him a life vest and taking him out on the boat this summer. I'll have to hang on tight when we are moving though, he so small. Does anyone else take thier yorkies boating? any dangers unknown to me?

Layla is a boater (hehe.. well our family is.. we buy and sell boats for a living and try and get out once a week) i wish i could help you with the unknown dangers.. but Layla, the party pooper that she is, sleeps through the WHOLE thing... i like she likes the sound of the motor... she has a life jacket that she wears when we are walking on docks but she hates the water

i'm going to buy her a kiddie pool this week and see if we can't change that! here is a picture of her on the boat... it was taken last summer so she was just a little thing!

I enjoyed those pics. of Layla in the boat. My Westie doesn't like the water, but she loves to ride in the boat. She jumps right on board. I'm sure Pixie will like a boat ride also since she loves the water it seems. Happy Boating!!

How fun! We are getting a pool put in soon, but will probably just have Mojo is own little kiddie pool and pool area.

I'm hoping Chloe will swim this summer. We have a pool. I'm going to get a dog preserver vest to be safe, but hopefully we won't need it.
