| The two kongs I bought for Harry & Paris would keep them occupied but only until they were able to get out all of the liver spread from inside. After that, they had no interest, so I don't bother with the kong any longer. What they really go for is the Pup-Corn cheese flavoured treats! They cannot get enough of these. The only problem is that when they're breaking up the pup-corn, it tends to get sticky when wet and sticks on the sides of their mouths! My two Westies devour them in no time! I shake the 2 lb. barrel that it comes in and they go nuts, jumping around and begging!

| I use regular chunky people peanut butter. If they don't get it all out then I just wash the Kong in the sink with hot soapy water, so I don't really worry about germs. |

| Lil Bear has a medium kong, that she like to watch bounce and get things out of, but she perfers the pup corns too. With her liver shunt it is the perfect low protein treat and it gets stuck on the sides of her wiskers too, it keeps her busy for a few more mins. I just bought Moose one on Tues. Med like lil bear, didn't think the puppy one would hold up as well. I was certain she wouldn't like it, but got home put it on the ground and she carries it all over the house...I have yet been able to stuff it!!!

| Sully's Kong - a household JOKE We say that his kong is a joke because he HATES it SO much! He can't stand his kong. It's like if you bring it out, he'll find another room to play in. The wrapper said guaranteed or your money back and I'm so tempted to do just that! We tried putting peanut butter in it....only to find that Sully abhors peanut butter! So that was a long, annoying cleaning-out process. Now, I'll put cheese inside it and freeze it, and let him lick the cheese out a tiny bit at a time only IF he's laying in his bed in the kitchen, while we're eating dinner. Otherwise he won't play with the kong, won't chew on it, fetch it, nothing. He may be in the most playful mood, and we bring out the kong and all of the sudden he's not playful anymore. It's funny, but it's true. We joke about it all the time now. We're like, uh oh, Sully is rambunctious again, better give him the kong. LOL.

| Sully is HILARIOUS!!!! Hallie and Simon are only interested in theirs if that's all the treat they have. I usually put peanut butter in it and they play with it for a few minutes then go back to doing whatever they were doing. I think I'm going to try the chicken broth, what a good idea for a hot day!!! |

| I just bought a Kong and I have a question. Can I put regular peanut butter in it.. and do I have to freeze it? For how long? LOL, Fred and I went to pick it out. He seemed to like the red one more than the puppy blue & white one. I was so excited, I brought it home and I put just a LITTLE bit of peanut butter in there and I didn't freeze it or anything. I bounced it and all the peanut butter inside came out and splattered all over the wood flooring! Fred was so excited, he spent forever trying to make sure he licked all the peanut butter off the floor! Am I suppose to fill that thing up with a whole lotta peanut butter and THEN freeze it? Help! |

| I always thought they were super expensive for just being a piece of rubber -- they're like 5 or 6 dollars in my area for a medium sized one. I bought mine from www.petedge.com for $1.45. I put regular peanut butter in there w/o freezing it and Stewie at all of it out in a matter of minutes. Now he just bats it around like a cat & watches it bounce. He loves it.

| Bill, your puppy is ADORABLE. Reminds me of a little Labrador (though I did read that it is a Yorkie/Poodle Mix) So cute. Congrats on being a new Yorkie dad.

| We have had pets as kids, but my wife and I have been married 11 years now and FINALLY decided to get a dog here, Buddy is absolutely the best dog I have ever met, my mom even cried when I took him home with us (from a short weekend visit) I felt terrible taking him from her (he just laid on her neck and lap the entire visit) but we love him too and how do I explain that to my daughter and wife... My only regret was not taking his brother too at the time, they were the last two of the litter and I could have gotten them both but didn't... I do know I want another one down the road here and one for my mom, I wish I knew more about the breed and could have even just one litter of Buddy's not to sell but for my mom and for us to have another - its sorta like a tattoo you get one then your hooked, number 2 comes soon after (altho i dont have any tattoos but that is what I hear) LOL... Bill

| I highly recommend the kong....Jerry plays with it and gets a kong treat (he likes peanut butter but he'll eat the liver flavor as well)before bed....he goes absolutely nuts for it too. We're very pro-kong Michael |
