| Sophie has No Interest in Toys??? I have had her since last Friday and she is 16 weeks old but does not play with her toys. She has a squeker lion, a lifesaver squeeker pull toy, a kong, a ball a denta bone and she has no interest in any of them. She would rather just run around like a maniac and sniff everything. Do I have a defective dog? How do I get her interested in her toys? |

| Oscar wasn't interested in any of his toys either for awhile (I got him at 16 weeks as well). Eventually he would play with them, but only if I played with him - he would never just amuse himself. Now that Ruthie is around, they play with the toys all the time. Maybe try a toy that is a challenge for him, like a Kong filled with little treats.

| Pepper's never been interested in balls... And I think it's kinda weird LOL. He'd run after a squeaky toy rolling on the floor but not after a ball. I guess they all like different things, just like us. Just keep throwing the toy to her, letting het tug on it. You'll see, she'll pla in no time.

| karma would only play with squeaky toys, and only to rip the squeaker out -- so I was in the same boat as you were -- sometimes its just the personality, but you will see as time goes on!! |

| Mojo LOVES (LOVES) toys! He would rather have a new toy, than a treat!! So far, he seems to only like the soft, plush toys that either squeek, rattle, or talk. We did buy him one of those "Bad Cuz" toys, so we will see if he likes that. He normally doesn't like the rubber or vinyl toys. It is funny to see all the different personalities we have!

| Molly love toys, but they get destroyed... We have a catahoula shepard dog that just does not know how to make toys last very long. He thinks chewing they up is playing. So Molly doesn't have that many toys. I try and find some that Taz will not distroy but they are too heavy for Molly. We do have a squeeky toy that Taz has not chewed up yet, probably because I threatened Taz's life if the chewed it up. They are so funny! They play like brothers and sisters and he is so good to her. I do think Taz has turned my little Molly into a tomboy!

| Soph out of the blue one day started playing with some of her toys! I laid her blanket out and put her toys on them and she started playing with her tug of war toy and chewing on her chew bone. Now, if I could just get her to not only run after the ball, but pick it up, then we'd be talkin LOL! |
