| Destructo dog toys My girl Sakura is big on destroying any and all dog toys. She has managed to completely dismember and desqueak any toy I have found for her. She kills them all. In the 5 years I have had her I have gotten the cheap toys to the most expensive chew guard plus toys. Nothing lives. I get the weird looks from pet stores when they ring up the ridiculous indestructible toys and ask what kind big of dog I have and then reply a Yorkie and this will only last about 5 minutes before it dies. She kills all toys. I joke I need kevlar dog toys. But really, yeah. I want to find one that will live against her need to destroy. So I'm asking: What toys do your furbabies play with? How long they last with those with a need to destroy? I want to get her something good this year for Christmas. And something she won't steal from her little brother, Axel, to kill his toy after her's. He is so good with his, if I could keep her away. Thanks!! |

| My past 4 lil girls killed everything, I couldn't buy them stuffed toys, one girl loved the stuffed ones, she would carry it around all day, even had to take one on her leash walks, that is until one of the others would steal it and shread it on her, all squeaky toys were de-squeaked, I would by battery operated walking barking dogs, they lasted 5 minutes, one of them would grab it give it a couple of shakes, the cloth would come flying off it and it was then dead, but those five minutes was the funniest ever. My last lil girl didn't kill her toys, she buried them in the back yard lol, bury it, then uncover it, bury it someplace else, then dig it up again, she would spend entire days doing this, then wanted to bring the dirty, nasty toy back in the house. The only thing that lived were balls and Freebee's. My lil adopted 3 y/o boy is so good with all toys, he has not shredded one stuffed toy or de-squeak a squeaky one, he did give his chicken a CT by giving it flying lessons. His previous owner gave him no toys, maybe he just appreciates the ones he has, reason for not killing IDK. He is wild and crazy with them when he plays with them, just does not lay down and tries to de-squeak or shred, Since Cody is not a killer of his beloved toys, I can't say what will out live a killer yorkie lol. Hope you get some answers. Good luck.

Yorkie Talker | Hank seems to prefer the rattle of cat toys, but alas he destroys those pretty fast. Dog toys last a bit, but here its only been a week & the only dog toys he's not managed to destroy are Kong.

| My Yorkies love playing with their stuff toys but like your Sakura, they are intent on destroying them too. Recently, I bought a Bob-a-Lot. One part at the top screws off, allowing you to put any kind of small and fairly hard treats. It makes mealtime last ten times as long, which is a good thing for reasons both behavioral and healthful. |
