How many toys does your yorkie own? How many toys does yorkie own? I think i may have a problem with buying any cheap toy i see |
I have around 50 toys altogether |
Have my new adopted boy 3 months, so far in his basket there is 25, new ones still in bag, 30, I give him a new toy once a week, |
I used to buy toys all the time, my two don't play with them much though. Bogie loves playing with one certain brand of ball and Jada has one loofah dog she carries around. I at one time had about 100 toys but I donated all of them to co-workers who have dogs that are toy destroyers :D |
Too many . . . LOL it is my fault. I see a cute toy he has to have. What I do though if I rotate them. I take out the holiday ones and save them for next year. . . Like Halloween, Christmas etc |
I may have to list them: 1. Monkey, a green squeak toy made out of socks 2. Pinky, a stuffed dog with two squeakers so I can squeak one and she can squeak the other 3. Greeny, a stuffed squeak toy 4. Spiky, a ball with little appendages that make it bounce funny 5. Bunny, a stuffed M&M with bunny ears for Easter 6. Car, from the last Cars movie 7. Big Blue, which is one of Minnie's old chew toys that was too big for her, much less Cookie. But Cook still loves to carry Big Blue, and sometimes use it as a pillow. 8. Gator, a small alligator chew toy. 9. Baby, which is incidentally the only baby she'll ever have. A small chew toy of Simba from the Lion King. That was her first toy and she hasn't destroyed it yet. 10. Enu, her big yellow pacifier. 11.,12.,13., 14. Her squeak blocks, like baby blocks only they have a tiny hole in them so you can make them squeak. 15. Tennis ball, her favorite fetch toy. 16. Spurs, a plush ball with a Spurs logo 17. Bobble, which she gets a new one every couple of nights. Squeeze all the air out of a 2 liter soda bottle and crush it, and it makes one of her favorite chew toys since it makes a nice loud sound when she bites into it 18. Various socks, some given, some stolen by Cookie I think that's all of them. She plays with all but the pacifier pretty regularly, and can pock out some of them by name. |
Hahaha! I don't have all year to list our toys.... 3 trashbags full that get rotated and washed. |
Yep, me too, 2 many ! We have about 20 and still have some new ones that Ruby received in a gift exchange. We had toys coming out of our eye balls and the pups had a blast with them. We cleaned out some old ones that they had no interest in and replaced them with some of the new ones. :D Ruby is the only one who plays with them on a regular basis. She will empty the entire basket, I clean them and 10 mins later they are scattered around the house again. |
Mine have too many to count. I rotate them: some are in the main toy basket, a few are in the bedroom toy basket in case they wake up and want to chew (glasses, headphones, etc. have been casualties of them not remembering to go to the toy basket), and I keep some put away so they'll seem "new" when I rotate the toys. They only have a few that they really love, so I could get away with only having rubber chickens, tiny tennis balls, a multi-pet stuffed toy with noisemaker/squeaker, and bully sticks. But it's so much fun to give them new toys!:baseball::chicken::Puppy2::socks::teddy: |
My two share their toys, we have 10 toys lying around the house i can count, and if you include dress ups 13/14 :) I am hoping to get them some more toys for their birthdays.. |
Bailee got all of our cat toys along with some new ones for her. She still enjoys the large plastic tops from the milk container and empty water bottles. |
Ricky is the only one that plays with toys. He likes to keep them in his dog bed in the living room and in my bed. I've usually got 2 or 3 in my bed and then his dog bed is full of them. He's got different sized toys, but I especially can't resist the small toys...which seem to be much harder to find. Most recently, I found a little stuffed squeekie cow that he really likes at Pet Supplies Plus. It's the perfect fit for him. |
As of now Molly has about 15 toys and loves them all! |
I feel like a bad Yorkie mom, mine don't have that many:(, mostly because my almost 13 year old Haley thinks she's still a puppy and tends to destroy almost every toy I've ever given them. I've been trying to find more of the ones with no stuffing them. She can literally have all of the stuffing tore out of a toy in less than 5 minutes. The one toy that I've found that she won't destroy is a ball that I found at my local grocery store so I bought several of them.:D Oddly enough I bought another toy that was a different shape but made out of the same thing and she destroyed it instantly. |
I'm guilty of having too many toys for Winston, yet he plays with the same 4 all the time. His snuggle bunny, his furry bone, his cloth Frisbee and his new ball. New because I have a ready supply of them, once he has worn one out another magically appears...he can't be without his new ball. |
Cuddles and Cookie have a basket filled with toys! Their favorite toys all have names almost too much to count! There's Mr. Carrot, Skunkie, Lamby and many more! |
It must be a " yorkie" thing! Guilty too, many toys all over the house. Mine brings a toy to whoever visits so they must be readily available. |
I can't walk out of Pet Smart or Pet Supply without getting Cody toys. After buying numerous furry toys I see he loves the soft squeaky ones, he LOVES to hear the squeaks. Yesterday I got him a rubber chicken and rabbit, the chicken has a much different squeak more like a croak lol. I gave him the chicken at 3PM yesterday, at first his was afraid of it BC of the diff. noise it made, when he realized it was not a danger to him lol, he was so silly and funny, he proceeded to try to kill it lol. he played with it, throwing it all over every room in the house until bed time (11PM) He woke up this morning looking for it, he has been playing with it for hours, so now his toy count is up to 60. He plays with most of them, has them all scattered around the house, looks like he is addicted to this chicken. I am going back to Pet Supply today to buy him a couple more chickens. Cody's prev. owners didn't buy him toys. I adopted him at 2 1/2 y/o, got him a few toys because I didn't know if he would like toys or not since he never had any, and he loved them. He just turned 3 y/o in March. |
I go crazy when it comes to toys.. I usually need to be stopped or I will walk out of any store with bags of things for Chloe. I have toys ALL OVER the house.. and I love it, LOL. |
Cricket is funny about toys....... She LOVES squeaky toys, and she has a couple she hasn't destroyed, I bought her a couple of new ones at dollar tree to see how long they would last. I gave her one of them and the she chewed a hole in it, so now it won't squeak. :( |

I think my pup has 12toys right now...but it's only day 4 of owning him lol |
The Yorkshire Terrier is a toy breed, and you cannot ignore or forget this fact when deciding to add this breed to ... www.onlinepokies.me |
Biscuit and Gravy have a basket full of toys, some they play with and some they don't. Biscuit likes monkeys. Now, Gravy, he's completely different. He has a long plush puppy that he plays with but what is amazing is that when we say 'Gravy, do you want to go outside?' He grabs a toy to take out with him. Every couple of days we pick them up, wash them and put them back in the boys' basket. |

I just bagged up some of Winston's toys...he has way too many, I'll get them out again one day and rotate them. This way he always has something "new" and his box isn't overflowing. He actually can see what's in there and pulls things out to play with. |
My yorkie's toy box is quite full already. I lost count how many toys she owns. I used to spoil her with treats and toys when she was a puppy. Now, I buy toys for her once or twice a month. |
Aoki has so many toys. I believe we buy her one or two toys every Sunday. She is so spoiled |
