Susan loves hair scrunchies -- big and plain. She especially likes the ones made out of the same material they make long underwear out of. She stretches them, throws them, snaps them and chases them. She can play with one off and on all evening but she's never chewed one up. That's amazing because she's very hard on stuffed toys. She likes to chew a hole in them and pull out the stuffing.

Hair scrunchies sound like a great idea! So far Gypsy's favorite seems to be pencils and pens, she'll steal everyone she can find. Doggie chew toys just don't seem to keep her interested very long. I was wondering if it's because she's older (3 yrs. old)? Do they stay playful even as adults?

I don't know about adults. Susie's only almost 9 mos old. She's very sedate for a puppy, but I'm not sure what she'll be like as she gets older. I had a friend with a Yorkie that was still VERY bouncy at about 3-4 yrs. June Bug could jump from the floor to the top of the back of the camel back couch like it was nothing. And she was very small.

Our Hope has a small mouth also - I have tried dog and cat toys-guess what she likes best? White socks-no other color-just white socks! She can snag it with her teeth and pull it! She also loves to play chase. She is 2 yrs. old.

I wonder if colored sock taste different. Maybe that's why Hope doesn't like them as well as white ones. Just a thought.
