| We have a basket that doesn't have high sides so the puppies can get in and get whatever they want. I have tried to train them to pick up their toys but I haven't been consistent and so, we do have to pick up after them each night. LOL

| My own kids don't pick up after themselves...lol I'll have to look for a shallow basket then. Thanks so much. Although, she'll just think it's a new toy. She chews on everything.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use a dog crate with the door off. Cali loves to go in there and dig out different toys. It's pretty big and they have tons of toys.

Ohmygosh! I got a perfect visual picture reading this Thanks! We have a picnic type basket with a split lid. Bella is a bigger Yorkie at 11 1/2 lbs so she's able to open the lid, get in, & find whatever toy she wants. There's another shorter toy box in the bedroom with mostly Tuffy's toys. Now if I could just get em to put them away! I know YT user cha cha makes lovely baskets; perhaps send her a pm if you're interested.

| I use a nice plastic laundry basket (the "bean" shaped one) and have a little wooden step stool for Neo to use. I say Neo, because he does all the procuring of toys from the basket, while his younger brother Connor watches and waits, then steals the toy away! |

| I used to used a wicker basket but I would have to lean it over. My mom just recently got them a basket at Marshall's. it says my stuff in a dog bone shape and is short like a storage box. But I put a boot box beside it so they can get it.

| We have a doggie bed that Huey never used, so it became his toy box. It sits on top of his crate & he has steps to get to it. Like everyone else said, he gets the toys all out but we have to go through the house daily and collect them all back up.

| I have very shallow baskets one for toys, one for balls, and one for bones/chews in the living room. In my office I have a wooden toy box a person made that I got at a pet expo and there is a little spot at the bottom to pull the toys out and a lid on the top to put all the toys in.

| I used to have a shoe box sized sterilite container. It served it's purpose. I was at walmart one day shopping for other things and my mom insisted that the girls needed a new toy box. I didn't think so but got it anyway. I think it was $6. I LOVE IT. They love it!!! Mainstays Youth Stacking Bin, Violet: Storage & Organization : Walmart.com My Dotti is only about 4 pounds and is easily able to walk into the bin to grab that special toy she wants. It's perfect. Bambi is also a fan. I got the navy blue one. I have a picture of her "in" it and will post tonight! |
