| Baby toys?? I was just wondering if anyone uses baby toys for their yorkies?? I don't mean the water filled teethers or anything, but the solid teething toys?? Heck I think baby toys are cheaper than dog toys. I know I have a TON of baby toys from my grandson....any thoughts???

| I do... we have a "giggle puppy" that makes noise when moved. We are on our third one-- my big guys (shih tuz) love them too!!! You are right about being less expensive. I bought my first xpen from toys r us. It was the very same one as at the pet store except it had pictures of dogs instead of babies and was at least 1/3 less!!! People are willing to spend more on dogs than babies????

The toys I purchased are usually the baby toys also. I look for non-rubber that can be chewed away. I found one that looks like a stuff animal with teething rings on it, that one works real good. Its comes in different animals, Jacks has a litte giraffe and the rings are around the neck. He loves it. They have a lady bug (same brand) I had to cut the rings off of that because they were able to bit the rings rubber parts off. I have had to throw some away because they were able to bit the rubber part off not durable enough for dogs so it has been a learning curb as to what baby toys will work. Oh and no stuffed animal with eyes that are not painted on. My two like to pull the eye-balls out. Whats up with that? LOL | |

| My girls favorite baby thing to play with was a play mat. Washable and you can use the toys it came with or put your own. I even attached it to Tia Iris Playpen to keep her busy when she was quarantined with ringworm (like a mobile). Tia is too tall for it now, but it's still perfect for Ally. This is Tia sleeping on it as a baby and then when she was about 7 months. Used for about $5 |

| Almost all Zivas toys are baby toys from yardsales- 4 for $1! I put them in a laundry bag and throw in the washer, they are very sturdy, squeakers or rattles are sewn into extra little pockets inside, I sort thru them every week and trim or unstuff or throw away as necessary. The krinkle ones are her favorite! |
