20 Reasons why I love Carmel:

1) He is the PERFECT size for me (not too big, not too small)- I can hold him like a human baby
2) How he would force his way into my lap and blanket
3) He is my living teddy bear (it's hard for me to sleep without him by my side)
4) He is so much like me... (loves food, play, and friends)
5) He is potty trained!! Took us 6 months, but it's all worth it!
6) He knows many tricks and learns them pretty quick
7) He is Emma's big brother, and she can't survive without him
8) He always welcomes me home with extreme excitement
9) He is truly ours, he is loyal
10) how he asks for rub rub (tummy rub) all the time
11) how he sleeps with his paws in the air
12) how he still looks like a puppy when he's 1.5 years old
13) how his colors are still a mystery to me (I can't wait for his coat to change colors completely!)
14) his unconditional love (our special bond)
15) how he would stretch, then end up laying down and not move
16) how he responds to "mommy" and "daddy"
17) he always brings an inexplicable happiness into my heart
18) how he makes me miss him when I have only left home for 1 second

~She is sooooo funny, ALWAYS making me laugh!
~She is a relentless "Fetch Player" ...I wish I had never-ending energy to run all over my apt. 24/7!
~She has finally became house-trained (outside & pads) & is doing great!
~Sometimes she'll be playing tug of war while on the couch with me and she'll start "paddling" her feet, indicating she's tired, she'll fall asleep w/the toy in her mouth! lol!
~Sometimes when she uses the pad she will come ask me for a treat
~She's soooo "portable" and loves to go bye-bye

~A 6lb. bag of food lasts her like 3 months!
~She maintains her independence @ night and refuses to come to bed with me so she can keep watch sleeping by the door...I wake up every a.m. with her curled up beside me.
~She smothers me with kisses, esp. when I'm having a bad day, like she knows.
~She is quick to learn tricks, commands & phrases
~She gets along with my parent's dogs, which means I can visit them often, with her in tote.
~I could go on and on! She is the perfect "Puppy!"

6. I had to bring her into work because it was so hot in my house (no a/c) and she stayed in her bed, never barked, peed and pooped on the pee pads EVERY time.
7. She charmed everyone in work, they want her to come in every day.
8. She makes my boss happy (I need to convince him that she should come in every day)
9. She stretches out on the couch comforter and looks SOOOO long. Even though she is only 4 1/2 lbs.
10. I can take her anywhere and she NEVER barks or makes a peep. She just sits on my lap and looks at everything.
11. She loves little kids, they always want to pat her.
12. She loves to see other dogs but when they go near her, she gets all scared and acts like a baby. It is really funny.
13. She won't let anyone else hold her and she won't go to anyone else. Even though it would be easier if she did, I kind of love the fact that she is a one woman doggie.
14. She makes these funny faces at me when I talk to her.

There are lots of reasons why I love my yorkie but the things that I really like is when she loves to lay in bed with me all day and lick my face. Also, when I blow her ears and gets mad on it. The most important is that I am happy when she's around.
